Today we’re introducing two-factor authentication (2FA) for Redis Enterprise, aimed at strengthening overall security and preventing unauthorized access. This enhancement can help protect your Redis account and eliminate unauthorized access. While this setting is optional, we strongly recommend implementing it. 2FA can be enabled by clicking on the 'Multi Factor Authentication' button in the user profile, then activating now and verifying with a mobile phone number or Google Authenticator app. If you don't have a mobile phone, 2FA cannot be added to your account. Once enabled, 2FA can be disabled through the Redis profile. We recommend configuring both SMS and the Google authenticator app for fallback options. In case of lost or stolen devices, disabling and re-enabling 2FA with new devices is recommended. For further information, feedback, or suggestions, please contact [email protected].
