The process of deploying a Redis Enterprise cluster using Operator-based deployments in the OpenShift/Kubernetes ecosystem involves several steps, including logging into your project, preparing and editing YAML files for security context constraints, role-based access control, service broker role-based access control, CustomResourceDefinition, operator deployment, and finally creating the Redis Enterprise cluster.

Today we’re introducing two-factor authentication (2FA) for Redis Enterprise, aimed at strengthening overall security and preventing unauthorized access. This enhancement can help protect your Redis account and eliminate unauthorized access. While this setting is optional, we strongly recommend implementing it. 2FA can be enabled by clicking on the 'Multi Factor Authentication' button in the user profile, then activating now and verifying with a mobile phone number or Google Authenticator app. If you don't have a mobile phone, 2FA cannot be added to your account. Once enabled, 2FA can be disabled through the Redis profile. We recommend configuring both SMS and the Google authenticator app for fallback options.
