RapidAPI has grown from a humble start at a hackathon in 2015 to become the world's largest API Hub, with over 4 million developers finding, testing, connecting, and collaborating on APIs. The company recently secured $150M Series D funding at a $1B valuation, led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, to scale its capabilities and meet growing demand for enterprise deployments. RapidAPI expects to continue expanding at the rate of almost tripling enterprise deployments in 2021, with plans to support the growing API economy in 2022 and beyond, where APIs are seen as essential for digital transformation.

As Operations and Employee Experience Manager at RapidAPI's TLV site, Plushcap is responsible for building a strong foundation for scale budget global procedures, salaries, and working with multiple suppliers. She also oversees the employees' wellbeing, planning and executing an annual welfare plan, organizing wellbeing activities, improving Israeli employer branding, and other HR operations initiatives. Plushcap believes that having more women in tech is crucial for bringing creativity, skills, and diverse perspectives to the industry. To succeed in her field, she advises persistence, learning from "no"s, networking, and seeking professional growth opportunities. Outside of work, Plushcap enjoys spending time at the beach, drinking white wine with friends, practicing pilates, exploring great restaurants, and traveling.

I am the Senior Director of Security Engineering at RapidAPI, where I design, build, and implement security tooling to help the company be great at security. I believe International Women's Day and Women's History Month are important because we still have a pay gap issue that needs to be addressed. To get into my field, I would advise taking small steps and learning one thing at a time, starting with the basics, and then exploring local Security meetups or conferences to find guidance and support. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and trying new adventures with my husband and dog.

I lead one of our postsale teams under Customer Success, Account Management at RapidAPI, where we work with large enterprise companies to integrate Enterprise Hub into their API strategy. I'm responsible for building relationships over multiple years and helping customers drive adoption and change management across complex enterprise ecosystems. International Women's Day and Women's History Month are important because they remind us that gender parity persists and that united action contributes to social, cultural, and political change. I've achieved many accomplishments, including persevering through people telling me "no" and pursuing my goals despite obstacles. One notable accomplishment is becoming a varsity captain and MVP of my high school softball team after dedicating time to practicing and conditioning. If I could give advice to my 20-year-old self, it would be to stay the course, learning from difficult mistakes and moments, as they will shape me into the best version of myself in the future.
