Postmark has introduced fully modular webhooks, allowing users to choose which events they want to send to each specified URL and add up to 10 URLs for different events. This change enables more powerful use cases, such as sending Open and Click events to the same URL. The new feature also includes separate Spam Complaint events, HTTP auth fields in the UI, custom HTTP headers, and a new tab on the Settings page for managing webhooks. Existing webhooks will continue to work as before, but users may need to update their existing webhooks to take advantage of the new modular functionality.

We replaced our inbox tests with Time to Inbox metrics on our status page, which provide more accurate and relevant data about Postmark's email delivery performance. Unlike seed tests that only run a few times a day and are specific to domain reputation and content, Time to Inbox tests run every five minutes and show the time it takes for emails to arrive in the inbox at major ISPs, including AOL, Outlook, Yahoo, Apple, and Gmail. This allows us to quickly identify issues and communicate them to customers, providing better transparency and peace of mind. We still use seed testing internally as a way to monitor overall delivery trends across multiple domains and providers.
