September 2013 Summaries

We're excited to launch our newly designed email activity, which includes improvements such as improved handling of multiple recipients, detailed information for each recipient, consistency between SMTP and API endpoints, the ability to filter by date, and delayed digests. The new design provides a better user experience with enhanced views of recipient status and issues, allowing users to drill down to individual people's message history. Additionally, we've rebuilt our Elastic Search index to prepare for the new system, which has taken several months of planning and changes. We have updated our bounce hooks to include spam complaints in the notification, allowing users to reactivate hard bounces but not spam complaints programmatically. The change aims to protect the reputation of both Postmark and its users by preventing web apps from reactivating emails marked as spam. Users are advised to watch for the "Type" field in the posted JSON and update their accounts and lists accordingly, informing customers that their email is inactive and should not receive further emails.
