As Postmark's activity search functionality has grown with the company's rapid expansion and increased storage of "Sent" message activity, issues with performance have arisen. The newly improved search algorithm now performs extremely well, allowing large accounts to respond to search queries almost instantly. Key changes include an updated search parameter that still allows users to search for recipient names and email subjects, as well as the ability to check for successfully sent emails, bounces, spam complaints, and SMTP API errors. Additionally, SMTP API errors are now stored indefinitely only when they occur due to invalid sender signatures or inactive recipients, and these errors are removed from accounts after 15 days, similar to "Sent" messages. This update aims to improve the reliability of search functionality for troubleshooting purposes.

The Wordpress plugin has been updated with important bug fixes, including proper support for HTML emails, to improve its functionality and compliance with community standards. The update also includes a standard Wordpress license, which was added to comply better with community expectations. A big thank you is extended to the plugin maintainer, Andy Yates, for his hard work on this update. The updated plugin can be easily auto-updated from within Wordpress or installed from the Wordpress plugin codex.
