We've had incredible growth in the last few months, which has led to a focus on improving our infrastructure and support for new and existing customers. We moved from MongoDB to Amazon EC2 with high memory instances to handle the load of archived emails, but are now looking to move away from MongoDB in favor of another solution. To improve redundancy and failover, we're working on a strategy that includes multiple environments at Rackspace, Amazon EC2, and geographic load balancing through Dynect. We're also upgrading our SMTP system to improve performance and add features like TLS and SSL support.
