By connecting accounts, users can share selected information such as balances, transactions, investments, mortgages, and liabilities, allowing Muse’s Finance experience to offer context-aware assistance with goals, budgets, subscriptions, debt, and investment decisions. Plaid emphasizes that connections are permission-based and user-controlled, with management available through Plaid Portal, and notes that its infrastructure supports more than 12,000 U.S. financial institutions and apps.
