During installation, NanoClaw places components in an isolated agent container, layers persona guidance over its default safety prompt, and installs scheduled tasks in a paused state pending approval. Templates can be customized after installation, shared with others, and imported from compatible clients, while effective templates focus on a clear purpose, composable skills, secure credential handling, paused automation, and local testing before publication.
