We built a Salesforce API integration in just 3 hours using Nango, an open-source platform for product integrations. Our goal was to ship a first version fast, iterate quickly and minimize engineering time & maintenance, while keeping control over the integration. We chose Nango because it offers pre-built templates for common use-cases like syncing contacts or accounts from Salesforce, full control over customizations, and a unified data model that abstracts away API-specific differences between CRM systems. By leveraging Nango's pre-built infrastructure and templates, we were able to build our Salesforce integration quickly while maintaining flexibility and control.
