Mux has launched its Partner Program, aiming to accelerate the development of advanced video products. Recognizing that no single product can meet all video needs in today's media-driven world, Mux aims to complement other tools and platforms. The program consists of three pillars: cloud alliances, platform partnerships, and solutions partnerships. Through this initiative, Mux hopes to simplify and speed up time to market for its customers while fostering an ecosystem of diverse partners.

Mux has expanded its caption support to include live videos, making them more accessible and engaging for a wider audience. Users can now connect their live caption provider to Mux and have captions delivered along with the live stream. To implement live captions, users need to confirm partnership with a live caption provider that supports embedding captions in an RTMP stream using the CEA-608 standard. Currently, live captions support a single language per video from English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Portuguese, and Italian. There is no additional cost for adding this feature to live videos, and it's included for all Mux Video customers.
