Humanitec has launched new Resource Packs designed to enhance the efficiency and speed of building an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) using its Platform Orchestrator. These packs simplify setting up various resources required for workloads to run on AWS, Azure, GCP, or in-cluster environments. They offer a curated collection of tested and ready-to-use Resource Definitions as code with best practice configurations for both infrastructure and logical elements.

Humanitec has released Deployment Pipelines for its Platform Orchestrator, enabling automated deployment flows and continuous deployment scenarios. The new feature allows users to customize and automate their workflows from within the Platform Orchestrator, supporting more complex deployment scenarios. Deployment pipelines can be combined with third-party tools such as GitOps operators, offering full control over CD setups. The default deployment flow with Humanitec Pipelines is outlined in a demo, along with instructions on how to create custom Deployment Pipelines and configure them for specific environments. The new feature does not affect existing deployment flows; instead, each deployment is now associated with a pipeline run. A new 'Pipelines' tab has been added to the Application screen, allowing users to manage and review their Application’s Deployment Pipelines.
