DigitalOcean has completed its audit of distribution images and 1-click applications after the Heartbleed OpenSSL vulnerability was disclosed. The company immediately patched its internal systems to use the latest secured version of OpenSSL, updated its mirrors, and reissued certificates. DigitalOcean advises customers to change their passwords and make a few precautions as part of their normal workflow, including updating all installation images to patch against this vulnerability from deployment.
