Lightbend and Datadog have announced an official integration for Akka, a popular tool for building highly scalable Reactive applications on the JVM. The tool is particularly useful for teams that manage large cloud environments and need to automate their infrastructure management. With Terraform, users can create a resource that automatically spins up an AWS EC2 instance and an associated Datadog monitor with a single command, deploy new monitors for their environment, create dashboards, set up AWS integrations, and more. The tool is under active development and already supports several Datadog API endpoints, making it easy to manage alerts, timeboards, and other features within the platform.
