Cypress Cloud has introduced webhook events for completed Cypress Accessibility and UI Coverage reports, allowing teams to receive signed JSON notifications immediately when report processing finishes. The new run.accessibility.completed and run.uiCoverage.completed events complement the existing run.completed event and can be configured per webhook to send results to dashboards, chat tools, triage scripts, or automation platforms such as Zapier, Slack, Jira, PagerDuty, Make, and n8n. Accessibility payloads include project, branch, score, violation severity counts, and report links, while UI Coverage payloads provide coverage scores, tested and untested elements and links, and covered view counts. Organizations can use the data to alert on quality changes, prioritize partial or failed reports, monitor trends, and integrate testing metrics with systems such as Datadog or Cortex. Setup requires an eligible Cypress Cloud organization role, a publicly accessible POST endpoint, and webhook configuration in project settings, including a payload URL, signing secret, selected events, and optional test delivery.

Cypress Cloud introduced Re-run Optimization, a Smart Orchestration feature for Business and Enterprise plans and free trials that detects CI reruns and skips tests that previously passed, allowing teams to focus on failures while reducing execution time, CI usage, and billable test results. Designed for failures caused by unstable environments, third-party dependencies, or live-system conditions rather than test design alone, the feature helps teams gain faster confirmation of issues blocking releases or merges. Customer production data indicates that median reruns skip 92% of tests and finish 9.3 minutes faster, while large suites with few failures have skipped up to 99.8% of tests and saved 36 minutes. Organizations can choose spec-level reruns, which rerun all tests in failed specs and are safer for shared test state, or test-level reruns, which rerun only failed, new, or changed tests and require Cypress 15.21.0 or later. Cypress also provides Run Cancellation and Run Completion APIs to manage run states, since reruns initiated before a prior run is marked complete execute the full suite, and administrators can enable the feature through organization or project settings.
