These updates aim to streamline identity management, provide better oversight of workspace configurations, and aid in resource management by tracking user activity and license usage. The release also includes bug fixes and patches throughout the month, ensuring Coder continues to run smoothly.

VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) solutions like Citrix and VMware are facing significant challenges, with renewal prices skyrocketing to the point where they're becoming unsustainable for many enterprises. This is driving some companies to explore alternative options, including modern alternatives that offer a better developer experience and lower total cost of ownership.
