Gartner’s Data & Analytics Summit in London, held 12–14 May 2025, focuses on helping enterprises move from AI experimentation to practical, scalable implementation amid growing demand for generative AI, real-time analytics, and intelligent automation. The event emphasizes that successful AI depends on high-quality, well-governed, accessible data, addressing challenges such as fragmented environments, regulatory demands, and evolving governance practices. Featured sessions cover AI-ready data, metadata management, data quality and observability, multi-cloud and hybrid data integration, data products, and the complementary roles of data fabric and data mesh architectures. The summit also explores the concerns facing data leaders, including compliance, security, master data management, return on investment, and the organizational capabilities required for effective data management.

CData’s inaugural Release Webinar presented updates and 2025 plans for its data connectivity products, which provide live data access, replication, semantic-layer capabilities, and EDI and managed file transfer integration. Connect AI added Connect Spreadsheets for live Excel and Google Sheets data access, a visual query builder, and scheduled queries, with suggested queries, reporting API improvements, and an on-premises agent planned. CData Sync expanded from ETL and ELT to reverse ETL, demonstrated replication of 20 million rows in under six minutes, and plans support for Iceberg, Delta Lake, additional reverse ETL destinations, and warehouse performance enhancements. CData Arc introduced centralized trading partner management and a redesigned Flow Designer for EDI and MFT workflows, while future releases are expected to add Python scripting, stronger role-based access, and interface improvements. The company also promoted its July 9, 2025 Spring Release Showcase and consultations for organizations evaluating its platform.

CData API Server is presented as a no-code platform for creating, securing, deploying, and managing APIs from databases, cloud storage, and other data sources. It supports formats including REST, OData, JSON, and CSV/TSV, can be deployed on premises, in the cloud, or as a standalone web application, and provides centralized controls for access, configuration, and usage tracking.
