Telefónica Yamaha Globalrider is a motorcycle ride-around-the-world fundraiser that began on May 27, 2016. The event was initiated by Hugo Scagnetti, a Telefónica employee who lost mobility due to avascular necrosis and aims to raise funds for stem cell research in tissue regeneration for young children affected by the disease. CARTO is partnering with Scagnetti's adventure, providing real-time tracking of his location and analyzing data on his physical activity patterns, heart rate, braking acceleration, speed, and CO2 levels.
