WorkOS is a company that provides tools to help developers build more scalable and secure apps by making it easier to add security features like single sign-on (SSO) and streamline integrations with various identity providers. The company has launched official Bubble plugins that can be downloaded now, which integrate WorkOS features directly into Bubble apps, streamlining authentication and adding capabilities such as launching sessions on the Admin Portal and retrieving user lists from connected directories. The first cohort of 24 Bubble-Certified Developers has successfully completed the certification exam, which consists of 90 questions covering various aspects of building apps on Bubble, including security and performance. The certification is designed to validate an individual's skills in using the platform to build web applications. The Bubble Developer Certification is a recognition of developers' expertise and can be obtained by signing up for the waitlist.

The Bubble ideaboard has officially released a new container called the Table element, which allows users to build beautiful and slick tables in their applications without having to jerry-rig repeating groups. The Table element repeats rows of cells rather than individual cells, making it easier to style and control the content. It consists of columns, one or more static rows for table headers, and a set of repeating rows that pull in dynamic content. Columns neatly align the content in each row's cells, allowing users to specify a fixed number of repeating rows or use a dynamic number of rows to lazy-load data as needed. The Table element is intended for situations where a mix of static and repeating rows is required, such as displaying list information with multiple columns and headers. It offers advantages over using repeating groups, including the ability to create column headers that are not automatically affected by the data source, making it easier to align content in a single cell, and allowing users to add and delete rows and columns easily. The Table element can be used for various applications such as order histories, wish lists, search results, pricing tables, and dashboards, providing users with more flexibility and versatility in their app development.

Kelly Bojic is an MBA student at Harvard Business School who spent her summer as an intern on Bubble's marketing team, focusing on growing the agency partnership program. She was introduced to Bubble through a tech club visit where she met co-CEO Emmanuel Straschnov and VP of Product Allen Yang, and was drawn to the company's energy and initiatives around no-code. During her internship, Kelly worked closely with Tatiana Afanasyeva, the VP of marketing, to devise a project that aligned with her professional and personal goals, and was pleasantly surprised by the level of collaboration across different teams at Bubble. Despite some challenges in prioritizing projects and finding resources, Kelly felt empowered to contribute to the business and make a meaningful impact during her time there. She values Bubble's culture of empowerment, innovation, collaboration, and reward, and enjoys spending her free time playing spikeball with friends in NYC.

Our inaugural Bubble Developer Summit was a celebration of the community's incredible developers, and we honored them with our first-ever Bubble Developer Awards. We received over 1,100 nominations for these awards, recognizing outstanding contributions from builders like Gregory John, Lachlan Kirkwood, Jose Campos Gonzalez, Gaby Roman, Zubair Lutfullah Kakakhel, Mike Loc, Neto Camarano, and JJ Englert. The Bubble Mentor award went to Renato Asse, who founded Comunidade Sem Codar, a no-code school that has grown into a community of over 11,000 students and 400,000 monthly video views. The Bubble Trailblazer award was given to Victor Nihoul & Wesley Wasielewski of Flusk for their work on security tools that make all Bubble apps more secure and performant. Finally, the Bubble Community Champion award was awarded to Thibault Marty, who has created a no-code training platform Ottho and is the leading advocate for the French Bubble community, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among learners of all levels.
