As we talk about what we do at Bubble with engineers, we face a lot of skepticism regarding the feasibility of the project. Many engineers tell us they don't believe it's possible to build a product that is scalable and customizable without code. However, this reaction is hard to understand, especially coming from experienced engineers. What we're trying to do at Bubble is solve a hard problem by providing a higher level of abstraction, making programming faster and easier. A similar concept emerged in the early days of computers, where programmers were able to rely on existing hardware components without worrying about each component of the chip. This led to significant advancements in software development. Today, we're trying to achieve the same concept at an even higher level, allowing users to build and scale something like AirBnB without coding. Engineers should spend less time reinventing the wheel and focus on building libraries and integrating them into platforms like Bubble, while coders will still write code in terms of new widgets and features. This knowledge isn't necessary for most everyone else.
