Blacksmith has introduced an updated CI analytics platform intended to consolidate pipeline metrics that are often dispersed across source-control interfaces, monitoring services, cloud dashboards, and logs. Building on its compute and caching tools for faster, lower-cost CI, the platform provides sortable and filterable views of current and historical metrics from organization-wide data down to individual repositories and jobs. Teams can use it to investigate slowdowns, flaky jobs, runner-related regressions, CI spending, failure timing, and timeout patterns, with split views helping isolate problematic repositories and workloads such as Docker builds. The product also identifies exemplar job runs at notable runtime percentiles, simplifying investigation of unusually long-running jobs across available filters, and is available to existing users with new integrations requiring a one-line workflow change.
