In an effort to enhance data visualization and analysis, Axiom has introduced three new chart types—Filter Bar, Log Stream, and Scatter chart—each offering unique ways to monitor and observe data, thereby improving infrastructure observability and logging. The Filter Bar chart enables dynamic, context-specific filtering within dashboards, tailoring data displays based on specific criteria. The Log Stream chart offers a real-time view of system operations by continuously streaming log entries, which is valuable for monitoring ongoing deployments or user activity. Meanwhile, the Scatter chart allows users to illustrate correlations between different metrics or log fields, such as analyzing the relationship between response size and time for an API. These new charts, when used in conjunction, provide an integrated observability solution, enhancing the ability to pivot, drill down, and broaden the view for comprehensive data analysis. Collectively, these tools transform raw data into actionable insights, facilitating quicker issue resolution and informed decision-making regarding infrastructure performance.

Axiom, co-founded by CTO Seif Lotfy, has successfully completed the System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II examination, demonstrating its commitment to information security. Conducted by the independent auditor Insight Assurance, this achievement recognizes Axiom's adherence to the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy standards set by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). The SOC 2 certification process involved a comprehensive six-month evaluation of Axiom’s internal controls, vendor security, and policy definitions to ensure the protection of customer and employee data. This accomplishment not only secures current data safety but also establishes robust standards for future data protection practices, underscoring Axiom's dedication to maintaining high standards in data security.
