May 2020 Summaries

Yesterday, I conducted an online, live class for our new Ray Crash Course, an introduction to Ray. The session was recorded and made available on the Anyscale YouTube channel for those who missed it. All the notebooks and support code used during the session are also available in the Anyscale Academy GitHub repo. Upcoming events include a live event on Reinforcement Learning with Ray RLlib and a Ray Summit Connect conference, both of which can be found on the events page.

The videos from the first Ray Summit Connect event, which took place on May 13, 2020, are now available for viewing. These include talks by Michael Jordan and Ion Stoica, as well as a Q&A panel discussion moderated by Dean Wampler. The presentations cover topics such as machine learning and distributed computing, with research projects including the future of computing being distributed. The videos can be found on YouTube or through the Anyscale Academy's event page, where viewers can also find information about upcoming events, including live tutorials and the next Ray Summit Connect.
