Dragonfly is a high-performance in-memory data store solution designed as a drop-in replacement for Redis®, offering compatibility with both Redis and Memcached wire protocols. Dragonfly is memory-efficient, supporting advanced modern data structures that optimize memory usage. Key features include support for various data types and search capabilities, single-instance and multi-node cluster modes, efficient snapshotting, high availability, and compatibility with cloud-native storage systems. Aiven for Dragonfly, a fully managed solution, is now available on the market.

Aiven has released several updates to its platform, including AI-powered query rewrite optimizations, Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) automation for AWS, cost efficiency and scalability with tiered storage, upgrades to Aiven for Opensearch, and support for PostgreSQL 16. The acquisition of EverSQL has allowed the integration of an AI-powered engine into the Aiven Platform, providing automated, personalized, and actionable insights to help fine-tune data architecture. BYOC automation enables AWS customers to deploy Aiven services within their accounts in regions of their choice, improving infrastructure governance and data sovereignty while reducing costs. Tiered Storage for Apache Kafka® and ClickHouse® offers enhanced performance, scalability, and cost structure by storing fresh, hot data on the Apache Kafka broker nodes and using cloud object storage for warm and cold data. Aiven for OpenSearch® has been upgraded to version 2.11.1, bringing new features such as search pipelines, integrated alerts, anomaly detection in OpenSearch Dashboards, and side-by-side search query comparison. PostgreSQL 16 support offers enhanced workload management, more efficient and secure database maintenance, improved monitoring and security, and an overall improved developer experience.
