Aiven has expanded its services to Google Cloud's Northeast Asia (Tokyo) region, marking its fourth supported cloud in Japan and twelfth in Asia. The company is also working on feature additions for Kafka and PostgreSQL services. These include new topic management APIs and user interface for Kafka, as well as a connection pooling system and PGBouncer-based connection pooling for PostgreSQL. Aiven's founding team will be attending the Slush startup conference in Helsinki, Finland to meet with customers and partners.
