In 2016, Aerospike partnered with Pivotal.io, a software and services company based in San Francisco, California. The partnership led to the integration of Aerospike's key-value NoSQL solution into Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), a comprehensive cloud-native platform as a service (PaaS). This collaboration enables fast and easy deployment of Aerospike on the Pivotal platform, providing users with access to predictable performance and proven high availability. Since then, Aerospike has expanded its deployment offerings for enterprises by adding two more tiles on PCF: Aerospike Enterprise Edition (EE) Managed Service for PCF and Aerospike EE OnDemand Service for PCF. These three tiles provide versatility for developers, allowing them to boost high-performance, enterprise-grade applications.

Three tiles have been developed: Aerospike Service Broker, which integrates a user's Aerospike database with their PCF deployment; Aerospike EE Managed Service, which deploys an Enterprise Edition NoSQL Aerospike database to the PCF environment; and Aerospike EE OnDemand Service, which allows configuring and deploying multiple Aerospike Enterprise Edition NoSQL database clusters within the PCF environment. These tiles cater to different use cases, including high-performance applications, shared session stores, and multi-cluster setup. The integration of Aerospike and PCF aims to facilitate software deployment, decrease time to market, and increase competitive advantage for enterprises.

Container World is an independent conference and expo that brings together the entire container and cloud ecosystem. It showcases how containers are now mainstream in enterprise, impacting platform as a service (PaaS) by enabling its specialization. Data is also getting closer to applications with edge apps consuming data within the app itself. Enablers of containerization like monitoring, management, and security tools are emerging. Aerospike, designed for cloud-native applications, supports shared-nothing architecture, cluster-aware client libraries, automated healing, discovery, and replication, and single-hop architecture to maintain low latency.

Aerospike's hybrid memory operational database was designed to take advantage of non-volatile memory (NVM) from the ground up, offering fast and parallel key-value access. The financial services industry requires high write rates for operational databases, making Intel® Optane™ SSDs uniquely suited for such applications. Hybrid Transactional/Analytical Processing (HTAP) is a focus area where ultra-fast non-relational analytical processing systems are headed. Aerospike's end-to-end test with a retail brokerage customer showed that Intel® Optane™ performs about 3x faster than NAND drives at the required latency level, offering real-world responsiveness and write capabilities.
