Migration From WordPress to Jamstack

We migrated a WordPress site to Jamstack using Netlify CMS, simplifying our workflow and consolidating processes. The decision was driven by concerns with speed, security, and reliability, as well as the complexity of managing an unmaintained platform. We used Jekyll initially but ultimately chose Nuxt.js due to its performance, server-side rendering, and compatibility with our design system, Volta. The migration process involved reviewing content manually, using rewrite rules for redirects, and prioritizing most-read content for swift migration. The new platform has delivered transformative results, enabling faster content delivery, improved reliability, and enhanced analytics capabilities.
