Guillermo Rauch, CEO and Founder of Vercel, has announced $40M in new funding to help everyone build the next web. The company's customers, including Airbnb, TripAdvisor, and HashiCorp, have shown how Next.js and Vercel enable teams to collaborate more effectively and move faster with greater flexibility. By using Vercel Preview URLs, for example, Airbnb has reduced its time to prototype and ship new features from weeks to just minutes. Similarly, TripAdvisor uses Vercel as a "component knowledge base" to accelerate the development process across dozens of subsidiaries and sister companies. The funding will be used to accelerate research and development, drive platform innovation, and scale the team globally to further enhance frontend developers' ability to enrich end users' web experiences.
