VectorShift assisted a national primary care provider in implementing a HIPAA-compliant physician co-pilot to streamline access to both internal and patient data, enhancing the efficiency of healthcare delivery. The co-pilot, which facilitates over 250 daily queries by physicians, enables them to obtain quick answers to procedural and patient history questions without navigating multiple data sources. The implementation involved creating a robust knowledge base consisting of documents, Notion pages, and Airtable integrations, and designing a backend pipeline with nodes that manage input, knowledge base queries, response generation via a language model, and output delivery. This setup allows physicians to use a chatbot interface, enhancing focus on patient care while ensuring data security and privacy.
