Vantage Launches Machine Learning Powered Cost Forecasting

Vantage has introduced a machine learning-powered cost forecasting feature for its users, enhancing their AWS cost management capabilities. This new functionality allows users to predict their end-of-month AWS bills both in total and broken down by individual AWS services, based on historical cost patterns. The forecasts, which are updated daily, are designed to be more accurate than previous basic predictions by accounting for spending spikes and service-dependent changes. The feature is particularly useful for individuals and small startups who prefer comprehensive forecasts, as well as larger organizations that require more detailed breakdowns by AWS Tag or Member Account. Vantage's machine learning model adapts to new patterns over time, improving forecast accuracy. While forecasts are not yet included in weekly email reports or available through the API, Vantage is working on these enhancements. Users can access the forecasting feature immediately if they have an AWS account linked to their Vantage account.
