Tyk joins 2020 scale up club of high-growth tech companies

Tyk, a rapidly growing tech company specializing in API gateways, has been selected to join the Silicon Valley Comes To UK (SVC2UK) Scale Up Club 2019, an initiative founded by LinkedIn's Reid Hoffman, Sherry Coutu CBE, and Ellen Levy to foster collaboration between Silicon Valley and the UK tech ecosystems. This recognition aligns with Tyk's mission to inspire future tech leaders as part of its rapid expansion, which includes opening a dedicated office in the USA. Co-founded by Martin Buhr, who created Tyk's open-source API gateway out of necessity for a lightweight, flexible solution, the company has grown to include over 80 staff across 27 countries and serves major clients like Domino's and Capital One. The company's inclusion in the SVC2UK Scale Up Club highlights its potential for continued growth in the US market.
