Ylastic has announced the addition of voice alerts from the cloud, allowing customers to receive phone notifications in addition to existing email, Twitter, and Jabber alerts. The service uses Twilio to initiate phone calls when specific triggers occur, such as load spikes or Amazon CloudWatch monitoring thresholds being exceeded. Voice alerts can also be generated for EC2 activities, service health changes, and other cloud services. This feature is designed to provide customers with more comprehensive notification options and improve their ability to respond quickly to changes in their cloud environment.
