The winner of the NodeConf contest was SMSFoo, a tool that enables users to edit Wufoo forms via Twilio SMS. This allows users to collect information from anyone with an internet connection or on any mobile device. The tool is open source and uses technologies like MongoDB, express, and stylus, in addition to the Twilio module for node.js. Jed Wood, the creator of SMSFoo, has spent years bridging the gap between design and programming and recently served as a Presidential Innovation Fellow.
