Flutter Vikings and Stream are hosting Build Viking, a week-long Flutter hackathon designed to inspire creativity among developers by allowing them to create innovative applications using Flutter. Participants have the freedom to use any design tools or cloud services, such as Rive or Firebase, to develop apps, websites, or desktop applications, with the requirement that the projects are Viking-themed and open source. Submissions, which must include a demonstration of the application, are due by midnight UTC on November 22, 2020, and winners will be announced on November 24, 2020, via Stream and Flutter Vikings' Twitter accounts. Judging will be conducted by a panel from the Flutter Viking program committee and Stream Developer Advocates, and participants are encouraged to share their creations on Twitter using the hashtag #BuildViking.
