Announcing Stream 2.0 and Multi-Region Support

Stream 2.0 has been launched with multi-region support, featuring a transition from Python to Google's Go programming language to enhance reliability, scalability, and overall platform performance, while still utilizing Python for machine learning in personalized feeds. The update includes enhancements to developer documentation to aid in creating superior feed and activity stream experiences, along with the addition of new geographical locations—US East, Ireland, Tokyo, and Singapore—for running Stream's API, allowing developers to optimize network latency by selecting regions nearest to their users.
