Strapi [email protected] has been released with an important new plugin: Users & Permissions! This version addresses the major limitation of admin panel and generated APIs not being secured, which was a key reason for users to wait for this update. The new plugin provides out-of-the-box features for Authentication and Permissions management, allowing users to secure the admin panel and API endpoints within a few clicks. The Strapi team is also planning to release a new Analytics plugin at the end of January, offering unique insights about user behavior with the API. Additionally, the team will add a feature request page on their website, inspired by Webpack's Vote system, allowing users to up-vote, down-vote, and suggest features they would like in Strapi.
