Tableau is Just Better with Starburst

With data stored as Parquet on AWS S3 and accessed via the Hive Connector, he set up two AWS EKS clusters for testing, highlighting Starburst's faster execution times for TPC-DS queries. The analysis involves creating various dashboards to simulate real-world applications, examining execution times and performance, and revealing that Tableau's perceived performance is enhanced by Starburst's capabilities, such as Materialized Views. These views, which can be refreshed on a schedule, significantly boost performance by pre-computing data, making Starburst a preferred choice for data analysts seeking efficiency and speed in their workflows.
