SonarSource, a company that provides software security analysis tools, has announced its Code Security Advent Calendar for 2020, which will run from December 1st to Christmas Day. The calendar will feature daily code challenges on Twitter, where participants can try to spot vulnerabilities in real-world applications. The challenges are designed for developers, not security experts, and will cover 24 different types of vulnerabilities and security hotspots in popular programming languages such as Java, C#, PHP, and Python. Participants can follow SonarSource on Twitter or join the discussion in their community forum if they prefer. The calendar is a continuation of RIPS Technologies' annual Security Advent Calendar tradition, which was acquired by SonarSource this year.
