SingleStore Does Oracle’s Own Demo Ten Times As Fast, Sixty Times Cheaper

Oracle has been showcasing its "in-memory option" on a massive server costing $3 million, while the same demo can be run on a much smaller 6-node cluster on Amazon for under $20k. SingleStore's version of the demo is faster due to its support for sorted columnar tables, which allows it to take advantage of compression and sorting information.
