SSH Access to Your CI Environment
Blog post from Semaphore
Semaphore has introduced a new feature allowing users to SSH into their Continuous Integration (CI) environment to interactively inspect and execute commands directly from their terminal. This functionality is particularly useful for identifying subtle discrepancies between local development setups and the Semaphore platform, which often lead to challenging build failures. It also aids those with complex build environments by letting users replicate successful configurations for automated builds. To initiate an SSH session, users can start a new build environment by selecting the Launch SSH button on a recent build, which creates an identical environment with the project's Git repository and any configured files and variables. The rollout of this feature includes guidance on setting up public SSH keys, and Semaphore is making it available to all users shortly, inviting them to discuss further on their Discord channel.
