Platform Update on June 21st

Scheduled for June 21st, 2016, the upcoming platform update introduces several software version upgrades and new features. Key updates include Chromedriver version 2.22, Elixir 1.2.6, Git 2.9.0 with enhanced parallel cloning and submodule updating, MySQL 5.6.31, Node.js 4.4.5, PHP versions 5.5.36, 5.6.22, and 7.0.7, RabbitMQ 3.6.2, and RethinkDB 2.3.4. New additions feature Node.js 6.2.1 and Qt 5.5, which includes the Chromium-based Qt WebEngine and deprecates Qt WebKit. Users are encouraged to test compatibility by switching to the Ubuntu 14.04 LTS v1606 release candidate platform until June 21st, 2016, and provide feedback to help address potential issues. The final release will incorporate the qt55webkit package and update the Docker-enabled platform with docker-engine 1.11.2.
