Rules Engine for Notifications, Plus Integrations with Campfire, Hipchat, JIRA and Trello

Rollbar has updated its notification system to enhance user experience by integrating with additional platforms such as Campfire, Hipchat, JIRA, and Trello, alongside existing integrations like Asana and GitHub Issues. The revamped model introduces a notification rules engine that allows users to configure notifications per project with a trigger-action model, covering events like new issues, reactivated items, and deployments. Users can filter item-related triggers by criteria such as environment and exception details, while deployment triggers can be filtered by environment and comments. Although existing customer settings have been migrated, some may find complexities in transitioning from the per-user-per-project setup. Rollbar encourages users to provide feedback or request further integrations to refine the system to better suit their needs.
