RevenueCat has introduced a new pricing structure that expands access to several features previously exclusive to Pro plans, making them available to all new plans, which could be especially beneficial for indie developers. The new features include enhanced charting capabilities, such as segmented Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) charts, and integration with Apple Search Ads, allowing users to evaluate advertising effectiveness through detailed segmentation. The updated plans also include a Slack integration, enabling real-time notifications of in-app purchase events, and RevenueCat Experiments, an A/B testing tool designed to optimize in-app purchases by analyzing changes across the customer journey. Additionally, the beta release of RevenueCat Paywalls offers customizable paywall templates and a paywall footer view, simplifying the implementation of payment processes and configuration updates via the dashboard, which can also be tested and optimized using the Experiments feature. The overarching goal of these updates is to empower developers to enhance their business growth and increase revenue through improved data insights and streamlined operations.
