Siemens Lift-and-shift to Rescale is here, and in force

Siemens has partnered with Rescale to enhance their SaaS solutions, offering significant benefits to both large enterprises and smaller businesses by providing more flexible and cost-effective access to simulation software. The collaboration has led to price reductions of up to 60% for on-demand licenses of Simcenter Nastran and Simcenter 3D, and the introduction of Simcenter Amesim for batch solving. Additionally, a new subscription model for GUI access allows users to interact with their models without needing to purchase permanent licenses, offering three subscription tiers to suit different needs. This setup enables large enterprises to expedite complex analyses and small startups to perform high-level design analyses without heavy investments, by only paying for the actual resources and time used. The arrangement between Siemens and Rescale thus provides a scalable, portable, and flexible solution, allowing users to optimize their simulation processes efficiently and cost-effectively.
