Rescale Releases New, Unique ‘Live Tailing’ Feature

Live Tailing is a feature developed by Rescale to address the need for real-time job monitoring in simulation applications such as CFD, FEA, and molecular dynamics. This tool allows users to monitor any output file from their jobs running on a cluster easily and securely, eliminating the need for complex processes involving SSH keys and server navigation. Users can view the status of their jobs on a Status page, where they can access and search through files related to their simulations, displaying specific lines or even image files directly in their browser. Live Tailing is particularly useful for tracking simulation progress, analyzing output plots, diagnosing load balancing issues, and ensuring that simulations do not enter undesirable states, thus providing engineers with a powerful tool for efficient and effective simulation monitoring.
