Introducing Sharing on Rescale

Rescale has introduced a Share feature aimed at streamlining project collaboration by allowing engineers and scientists to share simulation data securely and efficiently, thereby minimizing time spent on file transfers and maximizing focus on product development. This feature enables users to give colleagues read-only access to simulation data, including software selection, hardware configuration, process variables, and all original files, by entering their email addresses. Once shared, the simulation appears in the new user's account, who can view results and download data but must clone the job to make edits or rerun it. The feature enhances collaboration while maintaining security, with IT administrators able to control sharing permissions and monitor its usage within their organizations. This addition to Rescale’s platform facilitates cloud-based analysis and revision of simulations, aiming to simplify the simulation experience for users.
