I like the process of writing because of how simple and portable the tools are. Writing code has significant friction between inspiration and experimentation, which is not present in writing. I wish writing code was more like this. Repl.it is great for quickly experimenting with coding ideas, but its mobile interface was never optimized for it until now. We're excited to release our first iteration of a mobile interface that's built with native mobile design patterns in mind, including a tab bar at the bottom and a "commands" tab for various actions. The mobile interface uses the same plugin framework as our desktop UI, but lays out plugins differently using the layout engine, which is still under active development.
