In May 2021, Redocly introduced a variety of updates and enhancements across its product offerings, focusing on improvements to the OpenAPI CLI, Workflows, and Developer portals. Notable advancements include the support for OpenAPI 3.1, which allows users to lint, validate, and bundle OpenAPI 3.1 definitions, and the addition of a --lint parameter to the bundle command. Enterprise customers gained enhanced Single Sign-On capabilities, enabling configuration at both project and organizational levels, while improvements to roles and permissions defined new roles such as Admin, Maintainer, and Reader. The Developer portal saw enhancements like improved analytics integration, support for rich metadata images, and customizable login components. Additionally, Redocly participated in Google's Season of Docs by hiring two technical writers to contribute to its open-source projects, and shared its expertise at the Evolution of TC 2021 conference.
