PagerDuty & Keynote Partnership

PagerDuty has announced a partnership with Keynote Systems, integrating its platform with Keynote's web monitoring service to enhance incident response capabilities. This integration allows users to receive detailed alerts on website performance and availability issues, which PagerDuty converts into incidents and notifies the on-call engineer through phone, SMS, or email. The alerts include comprehensive error details, such as the affected website, issue severity, and whether the issue pertains to performance or availability. Keynote, known for its global Internet and mobile cloud monitoring, offers real-time diagnostics across application, transaction, and infrastructure levels, using an extensive network of measurement devices worldwide. The integration setup is user-friendly, involving a new service type in PagerDuty that parses Keynote email alerts and triggers incidents, with options to filter alerts by severity. Users can configure their MyKeynote account to send alerts for both Warning and Critical issues to a designated PagerDuty email address.
