This API-based integration allows New Relic to both create and automatically resolve incidents in PagerDuty, eliminating the need for manual intervention once an issue is fixed. The integration setup is straightforward, taking less than a minute, and is facilitated through the New Relic interface under "API + web integrations." New Relic, known for its web application performance monitoring across various platforms like Ruby on Rails, Java, and .NET, also tracks servers and end-user performance. PagerDuty has endorsed New Relic for its own web stack performance monitoring and offers New Relic Standard for free to existing PagerDuty customers, making it easy for users to begin leveraging this partnership.
