PagerDuty has expanded its Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality to include Google Apps as a partner, alongside other providers like Okta and Active Directory, enhancing the security and ease of managing user access. This integration allows for streamlined user access management, enabling easy revocation of access for departing employees and simplifying the login process by reducing the number of passwords users need to remember. Furthermore, SSO facilitates on-demand user additions by auto-provisioning accounts upon first login through an SSO provider. Available as part of the PagerDuty Enterprise plan, account owners can activate SSO via Account Settings, and it supports use on both iOS and Android mobile apps, as well as integration with Google’s two-factor authentication for added security.
